I am Kash Vankirk, and I was born and raised in the Tahoe Basin. I have spent my whole life exploring the wilderness and taking advantage of all the crazy things that come along with it. I am very zealous in introducing people to the place I live in and giving them an amazing experience.

What’s my mission?

Growing up in Tahoe, I have seen the changes in my backyard. Climate change, pollution, and tourism have challenged the diversity and populations of many animals, including trout in the Sierras. Watching these problems unfold in front of me has been very arduous, so I decided to take part in making a difference. In 2022, I founded the business called “Be Better, Keep It Clean,” where I spread awareness and promote cleaning up trash and protecting our environment.
